Exciting New Intensives, Artistic Leadership, and Audition Opportunities Around the World

New York City, NY – Dec 19, 2024– The Joffrey Ballet School in New York City is thrilled to unveil the lineup for our 2025 Summer Intensives, featuring new programs, fresh artistic leadership, and global opportunities for aspiring dancers. Registration for these highly anticipated programs opens on January 1st, 2025, marking the start of an unforgettable summer of dance education and artistry.

This year, Joffrey Ballet School introduces four new intensives:

• Joffrey Medio Oeste (June 16th, 2025 – June 27th, 2025) in Detroit, MI, led by Artistic Director Meg Paul. Read the press release
• Joffrey Las Vegas (Ballet) (July 7th, 2025 – July 11th, 2025), led by Artistic Directors Max Baud and Matthew Prescott.
• Joffrey Suiza (August 11th, 2025 – August 15th, 2025), hosted in Geneva and led by Artistic Director Angela Rebelo.  Read the press release

Additionally, we’re excited to announce new locations and leadership changes across several of our programs, including:

• Joffrey South (June 9th, 2025 – July 4th, 2025), now in Kennesaw, GA, led by Artistic Director Colleen Barnes.
• NYC Pre-Professional Ballet Intensive (July 21st, 2025 – August 15th, 2025), featuring new Associate Artistic Director Stacy Caddell.
• NYC Ballet Intensive (June 2nd, 2025 – July 18th, 2025), featuring new Associate Artistic Director Stacy Caddell.
• Joffrey Dallas (July 7th, 2025 – July 25th, 2025), featuring new Artistic Director Ceyhun Ozsoy and Associate Artistic Director Kaili Bright.
• NYC Pre-Professional Jazz & Contemporary Intensive (June 2nd, 2025 – June 20th, 2025), featuring new Artistic Director Angelica Stiskin.
• Joffrey West (July 21st, 2025 – August 8th, 2025), featuring new Associate Artistic Director Kaili Bright.

“These summer programs represent a continuation of our founding members Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino’s aspirations by offering accessibility to world-class dance education,” says Brigid Silva-Lohoff, Audition Tour Director. “We are proud to continue this legacy by offering a variety of platforms inspiring the next generation of artists,” adds Silva-Lohoff.

“The audition process is about more than just technique,” adds Monica Montano, International Audition Tour Director, who shares her enthusiasm for Joffrey Ballet School’s international growth: “The expansion into more countries means unparalleled opportunities for dancers to connect with diverse artistic traditions and cultures. We’re looking for passion, creativity, and individuality—the qualities that make each dancer unique.”

En 2025 Audition Tour is now live, offering students the chance to audition for acceptance and potential merit scholarships. Auditions will take place in cities across the globe and online, ensuring accessibility for dancers everywhere.

Auditions are available in Ballet, Jazz & Contemporary, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, and Tap, led by our Artistic Directors and Faculty.
