Chinatown is located in the lower side of Manhattan. The neighborhood accommodates various sorts of Chinese luxuries, the most alluring of which include restaurants, arts and crafts stores, to more specific traditional amenities such as vendors of Chinese herbs, clothing, and jewelry.

When Italian immigrants moved to this Manhattan neighborhood in the late 1800s, they brought their customs, food and language. That heritage remains evident today—Little Italy’s streets are lined with restaurants serving Italian staples on red-and-white checkered tablecloths.

All Dorm activities are escorted and chaperoned by staff members. Students should budget for activities if they want to purchase food, treats, clothes, and souvenirs.
