Juneteenth celebrates and symbolizes the end of slavery in the United States. In 2021, Juneteenth became a Federal holiday. The formal name is Juneteenth National Independence Day. It is sometimes referred to as Emancipation Day or Freedom Day.

Housing students are invited to join the cupcake decorating event at 7:00 pm at both dorms. Our Residence Life team will be hosting a movie night at Dorm 34 and the Found Students will be escorted to Bryant Park for a movie screening.
