The Joffrey Concert Group will have private In-Studio showcases featuring new works by Thang Dao and Tsai Hsi Hung on October 3 (Session 1, Dao) and November 7 (Session 2, Hung). Join us in celebrating the artistic innovation and choreographic verve of Dao and Hung and witness the next generation of dancers in the Joffrey Concert Group.

Prepare to be enchanted as our Texas Trainee Program takes the stage for a captivating performance of The Nutcracker Suite, led by Artistic Director Ceyhun Ozsoy. This beloved holiday classic comes to life through the dedication and artistry of our Texas Trainees, transporting audiences through scenes such as Waltz of the Flowers, Snowflakes, and more, each crafted to capture the enchantment of the season.

Opening the evening, our Jazz & Contemporary trainees will showcase their talent and versatility with a dynamic piece choreographed by Associate Artistic Director Kaili Bright. Originally presented at their midterm performance, this exhilarating work sets the tone for a truly magical night.

The Nutcracker

Students from the Joffrey Ballet School’s Children's & Youth Ballet program will present the full two act holiday tradition, “The Nutcracker” at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center.

As a work for students, it is an ideal challenge and gives many opportunities to dancers from the "babies" to the young adults as a collaboration with the Ballet Trainee Program. Set to what is regarded as Tchaikovsky's best ballet score, the story tells the courage and love of a small girl, Clara, in breaking the wicked spell held over the Nutcracker Prince.

Enroll today to join our performance, as an addition to your Children's or Youth Fall 2024 Registration.

Legacy In Motion - A New York Dance Festival

The Joffrey Concert Group is thrilled to present the Legacy In Motion - A New York Dance Festival (Previously ICONS Dance Festival)! This upcoming season, we are excited to welcome the iconic dance institution, Limón2, to share the studio and the stage with Joffrey Concert Group! Join us  for a full day of master classes taught by Artistic Directors Bradley Shelver of the Joffrey Concert Group and Dante Puleio of the Limón Dance Company, followed by an evening of performances from the two companies.

These master classes will provide young dancers with the opportunity to experience unique dance approaches, techniques and  styles that define these renowned companies in the dance world.

The Legacy In Motion - A New York Dance Festival master classes and performances will be held at Manhattan Movement And Arts Center.

The Legacy In Motion - A New York Dance Festival aims to connect not-for-profit dance institutions in NYC, create educational opportunities, and foster a sense of community among young pre-professional dancers.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

The Joffrey Ballet School Children’s & Youth Ballet Programs proudly present the innovative retelling of the classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

This live performance will be presented on May 18, 2025 at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center.

Enroll today to join our performance, as an addition to your Children’s or Youth Spring 2025 Registration. Study the curriculum developed for the classroom that will become the choreography of our show. Return to the stage with our fully-produced, premiere performance of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz!
