Alex Hayden Miller received his BFA in musical theatre from the University of Michigan in 2016. After graduation he moved to New York City to pursue a career as an actor, singer, dancer. Notable credits include Cinderella (Dance Captain/Prince u/s) and Fun Home (Jeremy/Roy/Pete/Mark) Fulton Theatre, West Side Story (Action) Milwaukee Rep, and Newsies (Morris Delancey) The Muny. Beyond his on-stage work, he was given the opportunity to work as a director, when he staged his first show while attending University of Michigan entitled Freshmen Showcase and assisted the director of the off-Broadway play Ferguson with Jerry Dixon. These opportunities guided him to pursue a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Leadership with an Arts Administration Focus, 2021 while being a guest tap instructor at the University of Oklahoma. He then began his choreography career when he was given the opportunity to create 4 shows (A Soldier’s Tale, Together We Celebrate, Fun Home and Cinderella) at the nationally regarded Fulton Theatre led by Executive Artistic Producer Marc Robin. Alex worked alongside Marc Robin on all four projects, choreographing all four while serving as associate director on A Soldier’s Tale and Cinderella.
