RESIDENT ADVISOR / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Annabelle Knapp (She/Her) grew up dancing and training at Steps Dance Center for twelve years and at Steppin’ Out Performing Arts Center for six years. She has been fortunate enough to learn from incredible teachers and choreographers such as Alyssa Vacco Daniello, Mary Kate Campfield, Jim Cooney, Elijah Gibson, and many more over the years. Aside from this, Annabelle has had the great opportunity to train with the Radio City Rockettes, Alvin Ailey, Steps on Broadway, and the Georgia Ballet. This year, Annabelle holds the executive social media and marketing position at an incredible organization on campus called Dance Alabama! which she has been a part of since her freshman year. One of her favorite parts of Dance Alabama! is being able to dance with each member of this organization and share our passion for dance with one another. Aside from being a part of the Dance Alabama! concert, Annabelle has been cast in the ARDT performance and worked closely with our faculty members. She also had the opportunity to run the soundboard for one of the Fall concerts, as well as gaining hands on experience in our costume shop. Over the summer, Annabelle will be an intern at the Joffrey Ballet School for the NYC and Vegas locations. She is so excited to meet new people, work in different cities, and gain more knowledgeable skills to grow from. This internship is going to be such an eventful opportunity for Annabelle and she cannot wait to get started!
