Carina Brunstein was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California in Los Angeles County. Carina began dancing at the age of 3 at The School of Dance and Music, acting and singing at the age of 5, and modeling at the age of 13. At 8 years old, she began dancing for the School of Dance and Music Hip-Hop Company, forming her love for performing on stage. As Carina got older, she focussed heavily on the styles of ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary, and soon auditioned for the School of Dance and Music Jazz Company, later on becoming dance captain for two consecutive years and performing in various halftime shows and theme parks in Los Angeles. At this time she also began assisting various dance instructors in the styles of Ballet and Jazz, later on becoming an official dance instructor for the Fusion Studios in Torrance, California at 17 years old. Carina continued her training with Millenium Dance Complex and Fusion Studios while still teaching and choreographing for three years until leaving for college. She competed regionally and nationally, while also attending various conventions throughout California until graduating from Mira Costa High School at 18. She now attends The Boston Conservatory at Berklee and is studying to receive her B.F.A. in Commercial Dance, while also still attending to her passions for dance education as an Embody Dance Conference master class assistant, as well as interning for the Joffrey Ballet School in the Summer of 2024 as an Administrative Assistant.
