It is the policy of the Center for American Dance / Joffrey Ballet School that all tuition and other fees paid shall not be refunded at any time, regardless of the time of cancellation by the student or student's parents/guardians or whether the relevant program has commenced. In the event that the relevant program has been cancelled by the Center for American Dance / Joffrey Ballet School, the School will make best efforts to move the student into a substantially similar program or if the program is not rescheduled then the student will receive a credit to be used towards Joffrey programming within one calendar year from the end date of the originally scheduled program.

Student Cancellation or Withdrawal after Registration: In the event the student withdraws after registration for any reason, including injury (see injury withdrawal policy below), it is the policy of the Center for American Dance / Joffrey Ballet School that all tuition and other fees paid shall not be refunded at any time, regardless of the time of cancellation by the student or student's parents/guardians or whether the relevant program has commenced. New students are encouraged to schedule a trial class before registering.

Rescheduled programming: In the event that the relevant program is re-scheduled or switched to remote instruction due to circumstances outside of the School’s control, and a student chooses not to attend, a credit will be issued to be used towards Joffrey Ballet School programing. This credit will have no expiry date and be transferable to another student.

Cancellation: In the event that the program is cancelled by the Center for American Dance / Joffrey Ballet School, the School will make best efforts to move the student into a substantially similar program. Such similar programming will be age appropriate to the student and within the same genre of dance as the original program. If no such similar programming is available, or has already filled to capacity, the student will be issued a refund. If the student chooses not to attend the similar program, a credit will be issued to be used towards Joffrey Ballet School programing. This credit will have no expiry date and be transferable to another student.

Injury: In the event of an injury after the program commences that causes a student to withdraw for the remainder of the program term, the student may request a pro-rated credit towards future Joffrey Ballet School programming. In order to receive the pro-rated credit the student must provide a signed and dated note from their doctor on their doctor’s stationary indicating the nature of the injury and the date which the student can return to dancing which must fall on a date after the program term ends.

No Transfer or Cancellation:
I acknowledge that this agreement is non-transferable except under the very limited circumstances described in the Refund Policy.

Non-Payment:
In the event that there is an outstanding non-payment balance Joffrey Ballet School may retain to an attorney or collection agency to enforce payment under this agreement.

Tardiness:
Dancers arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be admitted to class.

A fee of $15.00 will be charged for any credit card/debit card charge not honored by the bank for any reason when processing any credit card/debit card charge. Please call us no less than thirty (30) days in advance of any change to your credit card/debit card account to prevent this $15.00 fee from being charged

Program Description & Registration

Students register for the academic year with a minimum financial commitment for the Fall Semester. This is not a drop in class/program. Students enrolling for the Fall semester will have their enrollment automatically renewed for the Spring semester on December 1st unless they “Opt Out”. Those who wish to opt out in Spring, will need to email joffreyregistrar@joffreyballetschool.com with the subject line “JBS Children’s/Youth Ballet Program Spring Opt Out” and include their dancer’s name and classes they are enrolled in by December 1st.

OPTION 1: Full Payment Terms
Full Pay & Credit Card/Debit Card Charge Authorization:

Joffrey Ballet School offers customers the opportunity to purchase the right to participate in full semester and annual payment options. Joffrey Ballet School accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX credit card/debit card payments to permit customers to pay for these in full.

I acknowledge and agree to pay for the right to take classes at Joffrey Ballet School and in consideration of such right granted by Joffrey Ballet School, for the above total for the contract of sessions designated above by amount. I hereby authorize Joffrey Ballet School to charge the credit card/debit card noted below in order to pay this full payment.

OPTION 2: Installment Payment Terms
Auto-Pay & Credit Card/Debit Card Charge Authorization:

Joffrey Ballet School offers customers the opportunity to purchase the right to participate in an installment payment option. Joffrey Ballet School accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX credit card/debit card payments to permit customers to pay for these classes in installments. 

I acknowledge and agree to pay for the right to take classes at Joffrey Ballet School and in consideration of such rights granted by Joffrey Ballet School, do promise to pay Joffrey Ballet School for the above total for the contract classes designated above by amount. I hereby authorize Joffrey Ballet School to charge the credit card/debit card noted below each 30 days in order to pay these installments.
