Desiree Errico

Desiree Errico has danced professionally for both contemporary and classical ballet companies throughout the NY area. Ms. Errico’s performance highlights were with the Eglevsky Ballet as a Soloist under the direction of former ABT dancer, Ali Pourfarrokh. She also had the privilege to perform as a Principal Guest Artist at New York City Center under the direction of Alfred Obersteiner, as well as for the American Dance Theatre of Long Island under the direction of former Richmond Ballet dancer, Kathy Kairns-Scholz.

Desiree’s primary ballet training came from world renowned ballet coach, Maggie Black. She later furthered her training in NYC with Master teachers David Howard and Diana Cartier. Ms. Errico also had the privilege to spend several summers studying with the New York City Ballet and master teachers Olga Kostritzky and Damien Woetzel. She also attended the Boston Ballet summer program as well as ABT in NYC.

In addition, Desiree is certified Pilates mat instructor and has taught at Broadway Dance Center, 92 Street Y/Harness Center, and Peridance. She started her own fitness based Instagram and YouTube channel, “Dansique Fitness” to help spread her knowledge and passion for movement and self-care all over the world!

Currently Desiree teaches open classes at the Joffrey Ballet School and does private Pilates sessions along with private ballet coaching for serious adult students and pre-professionals. Visit her website at dansique.com
