Emma Herron
RESIDENT ADVISOR
Emma Herron (She/Her) is from Birmingham, AL, and will be a Resident Advisor in New York City this summer. She is currently pursuing a degree in dance with a minor in biology at the University of Alabama. She is also taking medical school prerequisite classes through UA’s pre-medical program. At UA, she participates in various dance-based organizations on campus such as Dance Alabama!, Dance Collection, #sickmoves, and Dance Honors Society of Alabama. These organizations provide her the opportunity to perform and choreograph for various shows, as well as build community, nurture a passion for dance, etc. She also volunteers for the Cerebral Palsy Engagement Workshop to facilitate adaptive dance classes for people with cerebral palsy. Off-campus, she works at Arts ‘n Autism as a dance teacher and is a choreographer for various competitive dance studios and high school dance teams. Emma is so excited to spend the summer in NYC and see what’s to come at Joffrey!
