Artist, Dancer, and Teacher Evan Swenson joins the Joffrey Summer Intensive for his third year! He brings his knowledge, passion, and love for dance into every setting whether in the studio, on-stage, or shooting on location. Evan has danced with many companies across the US including Josie Walsh’s BalletRED, Houston Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, New York Theater Ballet, as well as free-lancing in Los Angeles, New York, Europe and China. He has been featured in tv and film on SyFy’s FaceOff, Mattel’s Barbie in the Pink Shoes, Petals on the Wind, and many other commercial projects. Evan continues to teach and perform in both the concert and commercial industries, while recently working towards a BA through the LEAP program at St. Mary’s College of CA.  He is thrilled to be bring his background and expertise to the dancers of Joffrey, and will be joining the staff of the JoffreyRED Contemporary Ballet Apprenticeship Program in the Fall of 2022.
