Daniel Babilonia was born on December 20, 1992 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He received a scholarship in Next Level Dance Academy at the age of 10, where he trained in Hip hop Choreography, breakdance, jazz, salsa and ballet. After five years under Raphy Flores, choreographer of Daddy Yankee and Busta Rhymes, he became part of Group of Peace Dance. Group of Peace Dance is an initiative formed by choreographer Pedro Aviles to make dance readily available to underprivileged youth. Here, Daniel received advanced acrobatic and tricking training and a certification as a choreographer.

After graduating high school, he went on to do two years of finance in the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. While attending college, he participated in Season 6 of MTV’s hit show America’s Best Dance crew, performed in Disney’s Teen Beach Movie as well as many tv appearances and sold out shows across Puerto Rico. After a huge performance with Daddy Yankee in Miami at Premios Juventud, Daniel and his crew members from 787 crew traveled to New York to audition for Cirque du Soleil.

Now 2020, 7 years later, Daniel has worked on 4 different Cirque du Soleil Shows (Mj One, Mindfreak, One Drop and RUN). Outside of Cirque he has traveled and performed with acclaimed dance crew Jabbawockeez in their Macau show “True to Yourself”. Besides working with all these companies as a dancer, Daniel has excelled as a choreographer for Destinations by Design, Jls entertainment and Latin Street Fusion.
