Ian Klein is a New York City-based dancer, choreographer, and educator.
His training includes everything from Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop,
Break dancing, various styles of Ballroom, and various Modern techniques.
He is honored to teach classes at the world-renowned Broadway Dance
Center in New York City, throughout the country, and internationally on
traveling workshops and intensives in numerous styles of dance
demonstrating his passion for the art of movement.
Ian believes that the numerous styles of dance should be used like paints
on a palette and dips into each of them while creating to ensure that the outcome is covered in hints of classical technique to street edginess with
brush strokes of whatever style the choreography calls for.
He has recently finished working on projects for MSC Cruise Lines and
RWS Entertainment as a member of the creative team. His performance
credits include major motion pictures, hit television series, both print and
digital ad campaigns, performances with Grammy Award-winning recording
artists, as well as live theatrical performances.
Ian graduated from Marymount Manhattan College where he majored in
dance and received his B.F.A.
