With a career spanning symphony, opera, ballet, Broadway, and chamber music, Jerry Steichen is one of America’s most versatile conductors. Broadway credits include Peter Pan, Cats and Master Class, National tours of The King and I, The Phantom of the Opera, The Secret Garden. He has appeared on both The Today Show and Good Morning, America, and has led ensembles from Harare, Zimbabwe, to Oslo, Norway.  He served as Principal Pops Conductor for both the New Haven Symphony and the Utah Symphony, and led performances for Ballet West in Salt Lake City.  A passionate educator, Steichen spent sixteen seasons with “Meet the Artist” programming at Lincoln Center.
