Lena Alani is a contemporary circus performer and an aerialist, that specializes in vertical apparatus like aerial rope, silks, sling, loops and straps with 10 years of experience on stage as a solo/duo artists and as an ensemble member. Born and raised in Russia, homeland of world-famous dancers and gymnasts, Lena couldn’t help herself developing deep love and passion for movement, dance, physical theatre and circus arts. All of those wonderful forms of physical expression have influenced her style in the air, powerful and dynamic, yet soft, fluid and graceful. She is truly an artist with a strong creative vision and a passionate heart, that believes that art in any form is a universal language to communicate emotions. Highly motivated and passionate about aerial arts and movement, Lena loves sharing her extensive knowledge with students. She has taught lessons and workshops all over the US for past 9 years. She specializes in coaching various levels of vertical apparatus.
