RESIDENT ADVISOR / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Makenna Zelenak (She/Her) has been dancing for seventeen years and currently resides in Stow, Ohio. She grew up training at the Meneer School of Dance and performed in pre-professional productions with the Ballet Theatre of Ohio from age four up until high school graduation. Makenna is graduating from The University of Akron this spring with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Child/Family Development. Makenna is in her second year as the president of the Terpsichore Dance Club, a student organization at the university. She also teaches ballet at Meneer School of Dance, is a Teaching Artist with Art Sparks: Dance and Music Programming, and was a Unit Assistant in the Heart and Lung Unit at Akron City Hospital for four years. Makenna is excited to be returning to Joffrey after working as a resident advisor and administrative assistant for Joffrey South and Joffrey Colorado, as well as a resident advisor for Joffrey NYC in the summer of 2023.
