Mandy Fang
RESIDENT COMMUNITY ADVISOR
Mandy Fang was born and raised in northern California in the Bay Area before attending Chapman University in Orange County. She is a rising junior in the honors program pursuing a BFA in dance, a BA in public relations/advertising, and a minor in Asian American Studies. Mandy has been teaching at her home studio, Yoko’s Dance and Performing Arts Academy, since 2019. She founded American DanceX, a dance club and performance team at American High School. Mandy serves on Chapman’s advisory chair council, representing her peers on a panel. She has also worked as an administrative/research assistant for Dr. Stephanie Takaragawa, focusing on Japanese-American incarceration photography. Currently, Mandy is pursuing a professional dance career, training and performing with choreographers including Dwight Rhoden and Ido Tadmor.
