Marie Rose Baramo is a native New Yorker who began her career as a commercial dancer. Her background includes extensive training in heels, hip hop, street jazz, latin and contemporary dance.
When Marie is not performing, she is dedicated to teaching and truly loves it. She has taught many different age groups, children to adults, at different locations such as Greenwich Academy and Alvin Ailey as well as private and group lessons. She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and creating a safe and welcoming environment. Marie has performed with music artists such as Camila Cabello, Jennifer Hudson, Future the rapper, Lil Kim, Lil Nas X, Becky G, Sebastian Yatra, and Rachel Platten. Film, television and theater credits include Tick Tick…Boom!, Isn’t It Romantic, Tell Me A Story, Godfather Of Harlem, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, The Get Down, The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, Video Music Awards, Latin American Music Awards, Youtube Awards, Univision and ABC Upfronts, Saturday Night Fever Asia Tour, The Bodyguard – North Shore Music Theater, Pre Productions for ‘Fly’ and ‘Zoot Suit’. New York Fashion Week dance credits include Vogue World 2022, Staud, Kenzo, Phillip Plein, Moncler and Macy’s. Marie is a graduate of Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance.
