RESIDENT COMMUNITY ADVISOR

Maya Rustenburg is from Southern California. She just finished her first year as a dance major at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has been a dancer for almost 16 years and is excited to share her love of dance with everyone she meets. Maya enjoys working with young dancers and has helped out at her home studio for the past few years. She has been a role model at her studio in multiple ways, including having the opportunity to be a dance captain of a pre-professional company and working as a substitute teacher. This is Maya’s first time as an intern with Joffrey, and she is very excited for this summer! She cannot wait for the opportunity to gain new experiences and learn more about working in the dance world.
