Mayeelu Pérez was born in Cuba and started her studies there at an early age, graduating from the Ministry of Culture as a Spanish Dance dancer: Flamenco, Spanish classical and Escuela Bolera, taking part as a soloist in different dance companies. She then traveled to Seville (Spain) for four years specializing in Flamenco. Throughout her career she studied and shared the stage with widely renowned masters and professionals. Currently she is dedicated to teaching, choreography and performance in Miami and worldwide.
