RESIDENT ADVISOR/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Noria Nuru (She/Her) is progressing into her Junior year at the University of Akron (UA). Her majors are in Dance & Marketing, and she is also pursuing a 15-credit certificate in Computer Information Systems with a focus on programming. During her time at the University of Akron, Noria has performed works by Christine Howe, Colleen Barnes, and Kennedy Cole. During her spring semester of 2023, she suffered an injury that caused her to need to take time away from dance. Though she is still unable to dance, she participates in crew work for the UA dance program semesterly shows, manages the team for the @UAkronDanceProgram Instagram, and regularly practices Pilates with plans of becoming certified in the future. She has grown to enjoy the dance world outside of just physically dancing and is looking forward to delving deeper into the arts administration field.
