RESIDENT COMMUNITY ADVISOR

Olivia Doerr hails from Pittsfield, MA, and is a rising junior at Mount Holyoke College majoring in International Relations. She began her journey in dance at the Albany Berkshire Ballet and was eventually asked to be a teacher’s assistant in classes with junior students. There she discovered a love of teaching and working with children, which later led to volunteering as an assistant in elementary schools and working as a nanny during her high school career. Also passionate about journalism, Olivia enlisted in the Navy as a photojournalist and was elected to serve as 1st. Lieutenant at her first command, where she ensured the safety and proper care of Naval sailors in the residence halls. Olivia can’t wait to get to know the students, and is excited to help everyone have an incredible summer experience!
