Ross Gibson
Ross Gibson was an International Gymnast competing for Great Britain from 1997-2004. In his sport of power tumbling, he earned several Individual and Team medals at World and European Championships. The highlight of his competitive career was being Silver Medallist at the World Cup final in 2002. He also trained in dance, acting and singing at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts, Surrey, UK. His dance and acrobatic achievements got him noticed by Cirque Du Soleil, who offered him the leading role of “Red Bird” in “Mystere” at Treasure Island. With Cirque Du Soleil, he also played the lead roles of ‘The Trickster’ in ‘Kooza’ and ‘Mr Piggy’ in ‘LOVE’. Ross has directed charity shows such as Circus Couture and One Night for One Drop for many years in Vegas. Since the pandemic, he started coaching Acrobatic Gymnastics at AGC Las Vegas, and decided not to return to the stage when shows opened up again, and instead to “give back to the kids”, as someone once did for him when he was young. He is now the Performance Director there and AGC is now one of the largest and most successful Acrobatic Gymnastics clubs in the nation.
