Sarah Strebel
Sarah brings over 13 years of experience in both concert and commercial dance to her role
at Joffrey Ballet School, having showcased her talent on stages across the globe. Over the
past decade, she has proven herself as a dynamic force in arts administration, leaving her
mark across the industry in dance, music, and theater. Her expertise spans a wide range of
responsibilities, from planning seasons and casting productions to managing budgets,
fundraising initiatives, and shaping strategic visions that propel artistic endeavors forward.
Sarah’s professional journey has taken her to esteemed institutions such as Washington
Performing Arts, where she played a pivotal role in supporting special events and
collaborating with the Advancement team to elevate the organization’s mission. She spent
six years at Royal Caribbean Productions showcasing her leadership and managerial skills
as a Dance Captain and Company Manager. Additionally, she contributed her talents to
BLOC Talent Agency in New York City, bringing her administrative acumen to the forefront of
the entertainment industry.
Sarah’s dedication to the arts is not only evident in her professional accomplishments but
also in her academic pursuits and recognition. A recipient of the Outstanding Leadership
Award at a young age, Sarah attended the prestigious National Youth Leadership
Conference at Fordham University, where her passion for the arts and leadership potential
were recognized and celebrated. Furthermore, her graduate work earned her special
accolades, solidifying her reputation as a leader and innovator in the field.
With a Master of Science in Performing Arts Leadership & Management from Shenandoah
University and a BFA in Dance from the University at Buffalo, Sarah is equipped with the
knowledge, skills, and vision to navigate the complexities of the arts world. Throughout her
journey, Sarah’s dedication to artistic excellence has been a guiding force, and she strives
