Shauna Oliverio is a professional dancer, choreographer, and STOTT Pilates-trained instructor. While pursuing her degree in Communications and Advertising at Oakland University, she also embarked on her professional dance career.
Shauna has trained and worked commercially in Los Angeles, performed in production shows across Canada, was part of the creation and cast for a new Royal Caribbean Cruise ship, and performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Her theater credits feature roles in Chicago, Cabaret, and Cats.
Shauna Oliverio danced with Odyssey Dance Theatre in Salt Lake City under the direction of Darryl Yeager, completing five European tours, and later performed with Ron De Jesus Dance in Chicago under the direction of Ron De Jesus. Her passion for dance extends beyond performance, as she finds true fulfillment in the studio, working closely with aspiring dancers and guiding them through the creative process. She travels across the country, teaching master classes and choreography, inspiring dancers with her expertise and creative vision. Shauna loves every aspect of teaching, from refining technique to exploring artistic expression, and is constantly seeking new ways to evolve her craft and share it in meaningful ways with others.
Shauna is the founder of Rapture Dance Intensive, an in-studio dance intensive that she has been touring and teaching with for 16 years. She also owns EVLV Training, a boutique Pilates studio where she offers private and semi-private sessions. Her latest adventure is one she shares with her favorite collaborator, her husband, Chris. Together, they own and operate Rochester City Lifestyle, a hyper-local luxury magazine dedicated to celebrating the Rochester community. Shauna is deeply passionate about creating, collaborating, and finding inspiration in every facet of life. Whether through movement or media, she is driven by a desire to deepen her connection with the world around her, transforming ideas into meaningful expressions of art and creativity.
