Sidney Lowenthal has taught at the Joffrey Ballet School for the past 38 years. During that time she has taught all levels of children’s classes, as well as adult classes at the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels. She trained at Jacob’s Pillow, the University of Utah, Virginia Intermont College and the Joffrey Ballet School. She earned a BFA degree in ballet from Virginia Intermont College and a MA degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from New York University. Ms. Lowenthal performed with Ballet West, Central City Opera, Portland Oregon Opera, Bristol Virginia Concert Ballet Company and the Manhattan Ballet Company.
