Joffrey Akron Summer Intensive
Joffrey Akron is a rigorous two-week multi-genre intensive which focuses on the study of technique across multiple genres. Dancers will have the opportunity to improve technique, artistry, versatility, and overall stamina in preparation for the fall dance season. Train with world-class Joffrey faculty in an intimate and nurturing environment, where you are sure to see major improvement in a short amount of time. A weekly seminar on anatomy for dancers and injury prevention will be taught by Artistic Director Colleen Barnes. For those who wish to stay on campus, the dormitory and dining hall are conveniently within walking distance of the dance building, making it easy for dancers to take a short walk among these three buildings and experience life on campus at the University of Akron.

Housing Details
Residence Hall on the University of Akron campus
Available for students 12 and older.
The Co-ed Residence Hall is located on the University of Akron Campus. Our live-in Housing staff are available to students and parents 24 hours a day and assist by providing support and guidance at the dorm and studio. Students are escorted to and from the studio.
